from the colorado stolen cars FB page. 2 days ago a stolen merc was spotted, clearly spray painted blue and sporting fake plates. seems it was just stage one, as it was then moved and stripped in less than a day and spotted again.

yeah, I noticed two vehicles parked near, but not in, my neighbourhood, that both turned out to be stolen when I reported them to the police :(

the pieces that are missing had me wondering if they were looking for specific parts for their own car. like A/C vents missing from dash.

I don’t even understand people sometimes. My wife came out during her residency to find  the window smashed on her base Mercury Lynx.  AM radio, total stripper model. Least stuff to steal in the entire doctors garage.  Why?

A few of my friends does insurance claims. One of them had to check out a brand new C7 that was stolen from a dealer when they first came out. The only thing that was found was the shell. Every panel, piece of glass, and plastic was gone.

We had an ongoing joke that the Audi parked on my sister’s block was “mine” after it had been there about 6 months. Cops eventually determined it was stolen...also, Richmond doesn’t enforce 72-hour parking limits, FYI.
